Eid and Wedding Seasons

" Eid and Wedding Season " 

         In Pakistan its a tradition or i don't know i am using the right word for it or not , but yes its a tradition that people in Pakistan plane there weddings after Eid , i don't know what is the connection between Eid and weddings in Pakistan 😂😄 but yeah people do that , infact they specially plane their weddings after Eid-ul-fitr and Eid-ul-azhaa . 

I don't know what,s the logic behind it 😄 . Its totally alright if i call  " Eid the Wedding Season in Pakistan" 😄❤ . I am just writing it on a lighter node , i don't wanna change this tradition at all ❤😌 . Well anyway lets talk about the wedding preparations . 

Wedding Preparations : As you all know  we have a functions of mayon , mehndi  and all the Rasams , and yes i really want to highlight the point , which is that now from last few years we added another new function which we called " BRIDAL SHOWER " . Now this is actually new not that much new but yeah its new . let me tell you guy what is it actually , basically its a party type function in day , on which bride and her friends cutting a cake and play some games with bride and then it ends . And the next day bride goes for her parlour services . 

                

   And then we have mayon , mehndi function as well , by the way let me clear it , its up to you , that you can do bridal shower before mayon or after mayon its totally up to you . Then we have " Barrat " function in which mostly people do nikkah on the day of Barrat , and here i like to say some words about "nikkah which is sunnah " , nikkah is a blessing for all the muslims . And then we have a function called " Valima " . Valima is a function which is from Groom's side , and Barrat is from bride's side . 

    Now i would like to tell you some interesting things about marriage according Islam , " In Islam there are two basic events of marriage, the one is Nikkah and the second one is Valima " , that's it . No mayon , no mehndi , no barrat at all . So the question raise in my mind is , from where we adopt these all functions ? 

                          Let me answer my own question , we adopt all these functions from indian culture , because before partition of india and pakistan these two nations lived togather for thousands of years , and this makes it happen that after partition since 1947 till 2021 we all celebrate our weddings with all these rasams and functions and now its a part of our culture as well , but let me clear it this is not a part of Islam at all .
